So this past week I've not felt in tip top condition, coldy, fluey,shivers,hot, tired etc... You know the drill...so although I'm very much getting into the christmas spirit, I do feel a bit run down at the moment, when I feel that way i tend to look towards doing things to try and alleviate the illness feeling..here are my tips for getting back on top form when run down with colds etc
Take a gentle walk outside to get some fresh air
Keep warm with cosy socks
Keep my fluid intake up
Wear snug clothing,chunky jumpers, a warm scarf etc
Eat plenty of warm soups, my favourite is carrot and coriander
Snuggle down as much as possible, relax,watch some tv and keep warm blankets close by to hunker down with when the nights get cold and dark early.
