A little beauty Haul

I Have been meaning to update a few items in my beauty drawer for a while , I seem to have developed very sensitive skin and so I thought what better time them to try some select items from the Body shop which has always generally been very good to my skin, no harsh chemical reactions!

I suffer quite a bit with patchy dry skin  on my hands and knees and feet and so anything too strong can cause a real itchy flare up,resulting in my reaching for the doctors ointment which smells vile, so anything to avoid that situation!

I have used the body shop body butters for years and have never had a skin reaction, so off I went to my local body shop to source a couple of new items to try in the knowledge that I could enjoy them without the concern of a flare up!

Here is what I purchased....

Body Shop Shea body butter £5 ( hand bag version) I am sure I have had the bigger version of this and I loved it, but I couldnt be sure, so I picked up a small tub to trial, it smells gorgeous ( as you would expect) and I love the texture, rubs in really well into my skin, no reactions and ideal for dry skin, I tend to get really dry calves so this is wonderful! and even lovelier for my feet, a little tip I always try is to slather on after a bath or shower and then put my socks on to soak in the moisture, makes feet super soft!

Cocoa Butter shower Cream £4, I have never tried this before and I am really looking forward to giving it a go! I thought it was quite reasonably priced for the size of the bottle and it smells amazing again, its not overly strong scent wise so I dont think it will be over powering, I am hoping it gives a nice lather, I will update you in my september favourites if its any good!

Wild Argan oil, solid oil lips- £4, my sister is to blame for me picking this up, she mentioned recently that I should try this new range and I have heard so much about it on various blogging sites, I have had a quick sniff in the shop over the past month or so and I wasnt honestly sure if I would like it, but I do love a good lip balm/butter and so thought I would give it a go, its small enough to fit into the smallest of hand bags and its scent has grown on me! you can never have enough lip balms!

and finally a little every day rescue remedy that I would highly recommend for dry hands, if you are a mum especially, this is a common problem, with my hands in and out of water I am constantly searching for a strong but not gloopy hand cream, I found this one, Garnier Intensive 7 day hand cream in nourishing recently, it states that skin is still hydrated after washing and it has L-Bifidus and Mango oil ( for anyone in the know!) IDEAL for dry rough hands...sums up my hands and its fast absorbing according to the tube! I have really taken to this, it smells lovely, sinks in really quickly and my hands have actually felt a lot better recently! its not irritated me at all either!

So what beauty products have you tried recently that you would recommend?

Until next time! Cheryl
